Developer Phantagram is looking to score very big with this game. The creative thinking going into this game alone makes it worth you attention. So sit back and read about the Xbox exclusive game. Thats sure to be the sleeper hit of the year. Features: - 20 missions including infiltration, escape, escort and assault types. - Solo and Team combat - Multi-Player modes - Character customization before each mission. - Improve main character with RPG-like stats building - Three weapon types: open-hand, one-handed and two-handed The story of Strident main focus is around a so far un-named cyborg heroine. She is a female operative in the UNs peace keeping force known as FIST. Her and her teammates have been MIA for six months over in the Middle East. After a group of mercenaries takes over a cyborg research facility in Israel, our star/heroine escapes as the last living member of her FIST team. And she has alot on her mind including the classic objective of revenge. Phantagram is making a new and exciting combat system where you choose your weapons and accessories before you start each level. When this cyborg badass chick doesnt have any weapons she can punch, kick, and slam the badguys at will. With her hands free of weapons she can stick to walls and climb them like Spider-Man, use enemies as shields when bullets are flying and even use there bodies as springboards to jump higher. When she carries diffrent weapons she has diffrent abilities. For example im sure she cant scale a wall while carrying a rocket lancher. But should be able to while holding a small weapon like a handgun. You will also have to choose the right gear for the right mission. You will have the right before each stage to pick multiple weapons and power suits that goes from heavy armor with more fire power but slows you down, or light armor with less fire power but makes you much more nimble. What you pick to use on the battlefield of each misssion will determine if you succeed of fail. All together Strident sounds like an amazing game. When you see the screenshots it makes it look better. But we all know we cant judge a game until weve played it. But one thing is for sure GamersMark will be keeping an eye on this game. This might just be the next stand out gem of a game Xbox owners has been looking for since Halo. ~ditto~
