PS3 XMB Scheduled For Firmware Update 2.40
Version 3.6 has hit and the next update will be the long anticipated release of in-game XMB  June 18th, 2008 (10:22am) - It’s now official that in-game XMB and trophies will be coming to the PlayStation 3 after the long wait. Gamers will no longer have to exit out of the game to access things like their friend list and can start achieving trophies for playing their games.
